Gut health is a trendy topic today, which I think is actually very positive for the population for the most part. Expensive supplements and fad diets are an unfortunate side effect of anything that becomes trendy on social media with fitness / health. Below I'd like to show you two simple daily habits to incorperate into your routine that can and will greatly improve your gut health!
Saying cheers to gut health with a daily Kombucha!
Kombucha is an amazing way to help your gut because of...
🦠 1. Probiotics (Healthy Bacteria)
Kombucha is made by fermenting tea with sugar and a SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture Of Bacteria and Yeast).
This fermentation process creates live beneficial bacteria, like Lactobacillus and Acetobacter, which can help:
Balance your gut microbiome
Improve digestion
Support immune function
💩 2. Improved Digestion
Probiotics help break down food and support enzyme production.
most people notice less bloating, constipation, or gas after including kombucha regularly.
⚖️ 3. Rebalance Gut Flora
If your gut bacteria are out of balance (from antibiotics, poor diet, or stress), kombucha can help restore a healthier ratio of good vs. bad bacteria.
Upping the fiber intake (eat your favorite fruits every day!)
Quick Example:
🍎 An apple has soluble fiber (pectin), which acts like food for the healthy microbes in your gut. When those microbes eat the fiber, they produce short-chain fatty acids like butyrate these reduce inflammation and keep your gut lining strong.
So, eating fruit = feeding your gut = better digestion, immunity, and mood its really that simple. I recommend eating fruit daily to all of my online personal training clients.
Both of these habits can and will greatly improve your gut health and you'll notice improvements in your entire health!
